Toning/Strengthening Classes

Body Barre
Achieve the slim look of a dancer with this ballet inspired workout to fun, funky music. An effective combination of ballet conditioning, pilates, and toning with bands. Ten - 15 minute segments targeting specific parts of the body followed by a stretch after each segment will help you achieve a strong, lean, toned body. Beginner to advanced.

Body Sculpt
This class focuses on rebuilding or maintaining the muscular strength that is lost through the natural aging process. A pure strengthening class using a variety of equipment to burn fat and promote muscular endurance. The entire body is strengthened with modifying cues for the beginner to advanced.

Challenge Yourself (formerly called Get Up & Go)
An introductory exercise class that is 45 minutes of low-impact cardio created for the beginner or plus-sized individual. Build cardio endurance slowly with safe, easy-to-follow moves. No floor work - all standing abdominal work that is incorporated throughout the class.

Circuits
This class is a highly efficient interval based workout designed for any fitness level, determined by the intensity used at each station set around the room.  These stations will include the new TRX system, 360 balance benches, resistance bands, medicine balls, and a variety of other equipment to improve your total body strength, cardio, and balance.  Come to this class to burn fat, increase your lean muscle mass, improve your posture and core strength!

Core Dynamics
This class incorporates all the most important concepts in developing a well-balanced core.  Participants are challenged with a healthy blend of medicine ball, resistance band, bodyweight, and stability training to engage and strengthen the muscles that initiate and support nearly every movement of your body.  In addition to building strong abdominals, we also focus on hip and lower back stability for improved balance and posture.  A strong core builds a strong body.

Early Flight
This class is a very fun exposure to the basics of plyometric training.  The explosive movements of plyometric training are an excellent way to build coordination, strength, and condition your whole body.  Whether you are interested in jumping higher, running faster, or simply want an exciting new way to get your heart pumping, this early morning offering will definitely be worth your time.

Intervals
This class is for anyone wanting an effective, fat-burning workout that will tone your entire body! This class is an intense aerobic/strengthening series that will work multiple muscle groups at once. A time-efficient technique that provides fast results. Short cardio segments followed by 4 - 6 circuits. The series is done once to focus on form, then repeated throughout the hour at the beginning level or using additional weights, with faster repetitions through the following passes.

Kickboxing Intervals
There is no choreography, just kicking, punching, and moving for 45 minutes, followed by 7 - 8 minutes of light weight training, and 5 minutes of abdominal work. A hard-core class that makes you feel amazing when it's over! This class is appropriate for all levels. Modifying cues are made throughout the entire class to allow all fitness levels to come and kick!

Power Circuit
This class is designed for the individual who is seeking an efficient total-body workout.  Throughout this program, we are mindful of the overarching focus on proper mechanics for safe training and joint health.  Participants are guided through an effective workout targeting an array of distinct fitness goals.

Stretching
Slow, deep stretches held steady for several breath cycles to help you feel calm and re-energized!  Benefits include quicker recovery after workouts, injury prevention, increased range of motion, enhanced performance in other activities.  Perfect complement to Body Sculpt class! (**Note - If you come to Body Sculpt class and stay for Stretching, you will NOT be charged a 2nd class!  Great benefit!)

Tabata
Not enough time to exercise?  Like to get more results in less time?  Tabata is a 30-minute class of high intensity interval training.  This class includes a warm-up, cool-down, and 5 sets of tabata.  Each tabata is a 4-minute session of 8 intervals of very high intensity exercise which can be modified to high or low impact.   This class is efficient and effective.  Anyone can do Tabata!!  But, Tabata is not for beginners.  It is for anyone currently in a workout routine looking for a way to boost your metabolism and raise your heart rate quickly. 

Dance Cardio Classes

Club Dance
This class will take you away to a night out with friends at a dance club, listening and dancing to today's hottest tunes while burning calories and getting in shape.  A great option to keep you moving and bouncing while improving your body and health in a simulated night on the town!

fuZion
This dance fitness class fuses Zumba's Latin rhythms with a variety of sounds for you to enjoy.  Pop music, burlesque, hip hop, 80s-90s tunes - you never know what we'll break out!  Easy to follow and designed to make you SWEAT, this class will have you dancing in the calorie-burning zone.  Check it out!

Hip Hop Hustle
Drop the beat! Hip the floor!  Burn it off!  Come back for more! Shape your body while you burn off serious calories with hip hop HUSTLE! We break down the hottest moves so they're easy to follow, working up to a huge burst at the end of class.  So much fun, you won't realize you're working out!

Low-Impact Zumba
A modified Zumba class for the beginner, older participant, those with physical limitations, or those who prefer a slower pace. This is also a great class for new Zumba participants who would like to see the moves broken down. A "feel-happy" workout that is great for both the body and mind. A fusion of Latin, international, and classic rock music combined with safe, easy-to-follow combinations that allow you to dance away your worries.

Wild Tuesday! Wild Wednesday! & Wild Thursday!
A Zumba/Hip Hop combination class taught by two instructors. Great energy, great fun, great workout!!

Zumba
A Latin dance-inspired class with infectious music, easy-to-follow dance moves, and body beautifying benefits. Infuses party fun into fitness! No experience required!!! One hour of fun, friends, and dancing! Even the mistakes burn calories!!

Yoga/Pilates Classes

Gentle Yoga
Just what it sounds like!  A gentle yoga class that will introduce the participant to the principles of alignment and technique, while slowly stretching and strengthening the body.

Pilates
Achieve strong core muscles, including the abdominals, glutes, hips, and back, with 1 hour of traditional Mat Level I Pilates exercises. Our Pilates classes are designed for beginners to experienced Pilates participants, offering modification options for each exercise. Regular participation in Pilates is sure to result in a flattened belly and a stronger, leaner body.

Yoga
For rookies or veterans, yoga focuses on strength, balance and flexibility. The teacher will help you with alignment so you can strengthen your whole body. Options are given in each class for multi-level students. A final relaxation promotes stress release and overall wellness.
